नेत्रहीन होने के बावजूद शारदा पूरे गांव के लिए बन गई मिसाल

देश का दिल मध्य प्रदेश और वहां की वित्तीय राजधानी, इंदौर. इंदौर से 170 किलो मीटर दूर बसा ज़िला, जोबट. प्रेरणा भरी ये कहानी जोबट के एक आदिवासी गांव में रहने वाली शारदा डावर की है. शारदा जन्म से ही नेत्रहीन है. बिना आंखों के शारदा कुछ देख सकती थी, तो सिर्फ सपने. शारदा ने नेत्रहीनता को कभी अपने सपनों का रोड़ा नहीं बनने दिया. कुछ सालों पहले पैसों के आभाव के चलते, ग्रैजुएशन के लिए शारदा ने जोबट के कलेक्टर से वित्तीय मदद मांगी थी. कलेक्टर शेखर वर्मा ने शारदा के हौसलों को हवा देते हुए 10,000 रुपये की मदद की.

परिणाम स्वरूप शारदा ने न सिर्फ अपनी ग्रेजुएशन अच्छे अंकों से पास की बल्कि बैंक पी.ओ. का इम्तिहान भी पास कर लिया. साक्षरता दर के मामले में शारदा का गांव काफी पीछे है. ऐसे में शारदा की ये उपलब्धि कई लोगों के लिए प्रेरणा बन गई. कुछ समय पहले शारदा, कलेक्टर शेखर वर्मा के आॅफिस पहुंची. पहले कलेक्टर उसे पहचान नहीं पाए, लेकिन शारदा की बात ने उन्हें गौरांवित कर दिया. शारदा ने कलेक्टर का शुक्रिया अदा करते हुए उन्हें 10,000 रुपये वापस कर दिए. उसने कलेक्टर से कहा कि वो उनकी वजह से ही पैसे लौटाने लायक बनी है. शारदा ने कहा कि वो ये पैसे कर्ज़ उतारने के लिए नहीं, बल्कि किसी और ज़रूरतमंद की मदद के लिए वापस कर रही है.
